Thank you for your interest in our online shop. Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Below, we inform you in detail about how we handle your data.

1. Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of retrieval, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider (access data), and documents the retrieval.

This access data is evaluated exclusively to ensure the trouble-free operation of the site and to improve our offer. This serves our overriding legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which are balanced in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. All access data will be deleted no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.

Hosting services by a third-party provider
As part of processing on our behalf, a third-party provider renders hosting and website display services for us. This serves our overriding legitimate interests in a correct presentation of our offer, which are balanced in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. All data collected in the context of using this website or in forms provided for this purpose in the online shop, as described below, will be processed on their servers. Processing on other servers only takes place within the scope explained here.

This service provider is located in a country outside the European Union for which the European Commission has issued a decision determining an adequate level of data protection.

2. Data collection and use for contract processing

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order or when contacting us (e.g., via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such because in these cases we absolutely need the data for contract processing or for processing your contact request, and you cannot complete the order or send the contact request without providing them. The data collected is evident from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR for contract processing and processing your inquiries. If you have given your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR by choosing to open a customer account, we use your data for the purpose of opening a customer account. After complete processing of the contract or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the expiry of tax and commercial law retention periods, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data use that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration. Your customer account can be deleted at any time and can be done either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a function provided for this purpose in the customer account.

3. Data Transfer

For contract fulfillment in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. b GDPR, we pass on your data to the shipping company commissioned with the delivery, insofar as this is necessary for the delivery of ordered goods. Depending on which payment service provider you select in the order process, we pass on the payment data collected for this purpose to the credit institution commissioned with the payment and, if applicable, to payment service providers commissioned by us or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers also collect this data themselves if you create an account there. In this case, you must log in to the payment service provider with your access data during the order process. The data protection declaration of the respective payment service provider applies in this respect.

4. Email Newsletter

Email advertising with newsletter subscription
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the data required for this or separately provided by you to regularly send you our email newsletter based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. a GDPR.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time either by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a dedicated link in the newsletter. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to further data use that is legally permitted and about which we inform you in this declaration.

The newsletter is sent as part of processing on our behalf by a service provider, to whom we pass on your email address for this purpose.

This service provider is located in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. Based on this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an adequate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.

5. Integration of the Trusted Shops Trustbadge

The Trusted Shops Trustbadge is integrated on this website to display our Trusted Shops seal of approval and to offer the Trusted Shops membership for buyers after an order.

This serves to protect our overriding legitimate interests in optimal marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 S. 1 lit. f GDPR. The Trustbadge and the services advertised with it are an offer of Trusted Shops GmbH, Subbelrather Str. 15C, 50823 Cologne.
When the Trustbadge is called up, the web server automatically stores a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, your IP address, date and time of retrieval, the amount of data transferred and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval. This access data is not evaluated and is automatically overwritten no later than seven days after the end of your visit to the site.
Further personal data is only transferred to Trusted Shops if you have consented to this, decide to use Trusted Shops products after completing an order, or have already registered for use. In this case, the contractual agreement between you and Trusted Shops applies.

The automatically collected information about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymized IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will generally not be merged with other Google data.
